Two local authors of historical whodunnits dropped in this week to sign copies of their new books. It was a great opportunity and pleasure to chat with Victoria Dowd and Ali Simpson about books, and there will be a chance to catch them in conversation on the 10th of December in the Newton Abbot library - tickets for this event are now available.
Victoria Dowd: Death in the Aviary
Victoria Dowd's Death in the Aviary is a gothic whodunnit set on Dartmoor (a cracking read with a map and a list of characters). Victoria is vice chair of the Crime Writers Association, and an expert on Agatha Christie and Golden Age whodunnits.
Ali Simpson: Death by Misdirection
Death by Misdirection is the second book in Ali Simpsons' series set in fabulous 1930s Torquay. Both Murder Under the Rock and Death by Misdireciton are available signed exclusively by Gumshoe Books.
