Yrsa Sigurdardottir, Satu Rämö and Lilja Sigurdardottir are all writing gripping thriller series set in Iceland. They are published by three different publishers, and as it happens, all three have new books due in the next few weeks.

Yrsa Sigurdardottir: Can't Run Can't Hide is the first in the Black Ice Series - a noir police procedural with plenty of tension. The next one up in this series is the second volume, The Wake, in October 2025.
Satu Rämö, a Finnish author writing an Icelandic series is one of the most popular authors on Gumshoe Books. Her Hildur series is also a noir police procedural, set in an isolated community on the West Coast of Iceland. The third in the series, The Shadow of the Northern Lights, is due in October as a paperback original.
Lilja Sigurdardottir's Arora series started with Cold as Hell, and will be complete with the fifth book Black as Death, due at the end of October. This is a series to be read in order, to follow the story of Isafold, who returns to Iceland to search for her disappeared sister Arora.
